Please view the terms and conditions for Fonqueyrade below, you must ensure that ALL members of your party understand and comply with these terms and conditions.

A reminder that Fonqueyrade is a NO SMOKING property.




  • Check the availability using the calendar on this page. (Green is available, red is booked)
  • Contact us and when the dates are confirmed please fill in, sign, and return the booking form, we require a non refundable deposit of 25% of the total booking price which is payable in sterling by bank transfer in order to secure your booking.
  • The balance of the booking is then to be paid in full 8 weeks before your arrival. (total amount due at booking stage if rental date less than 8 weeks away)


Damages Deposit & Care of Property


We require a £500 refundable deposit one week prior to your arrival to cover the cost of any breakages/excess cleaning charges as a result of your stay at Fonqueyrade. This deposit will be returned in full 2 weeks after your departure from Fonqueyrade if everything is left undamaged/clean.

It is the client’s responsibility to take reasonable care of Fonqueyrade and all the fixtures, fittings and effects, both in and around the property. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that Fonqueyrade is left secure at all times when leaving the property.


Cancellation Policy & Payment


When you make a firm booking we require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of total booking cost, payable by bank transfer or cheque. The final balance should be paid 8 weeks before the rental starts. If the booking is cancelled we will try to re-let, if successful we will refund all monies less any expenses incurred. If we are unable to re-let we will charge as follows:


If cancelled more than 9 weeks before : 100% returned
6-8 weeks before : 60% returned
4 weeks or less before : 0% returned

If Fonqueyrade cannot be made available for the period a client has booked, due to events beyond the owners’ control, then any monies paid in rental will be returned to the client.


Insurance & Liability


We advise you to take out the appropriate travel and third party insurance for your trip to France and your stay at Fonqueyrade.

Your stay is at your own risk. We shall have no liability for any death, or personal injury, damage or loss of personal property. The use of the property and its equipment is entirely at the client’s risk. We do not accept any responsibility for injury sustained by the client and/or a member of his/her party, nor for loss or damage to their belongings including motor vehicles.


Safety and Responsibility


There should be no diving or irresponsible/dangerous behaviour in or around the pool, garden or elsewhere on the property which could cause danger to yourself or others.
It is the responsibility of parents/guardians/responsible adults to monitor children whilst staying at Fonqueyrade.

Please also be aware that at certain times of the year there is a pond in the garden, depending on levels of rainfall.


Arrival and Departure


Please vacate Fonqueyrade by 10.00hrs on day of departure
Fonqueyrade is available from 16.00hrs on your day of arrival
Upon arrival you will be greeted by our key holder who will show you around, and welcome you – she will be your point of contact during your stay at Fonqueyrade.




A maximum of two well behaved dogs are welcomed providing they have had the appropriate flea and worm treatments prior to arrival. You will also need to abide by Government laws on travelling to Europe with animals. You must ensure that your animals do not go upstairs at Fonqueyrade. We also ask that they do not go on any furniture. You will need to bring your own pet bedding, food, and food and water bowls.

You MUST clean up after your pet – all waste must be removed from the property. You will be liable for any damage, injury or nuisance caused by your pets. (Remember Fonqueyrade is in a rural area, the garden is not 100% dog proofed, and there are farms and livestock nearby).


All the information on our literature and website is believed to be correct, but we cannot accept liability for losses arising from any unforeseen changes, errors or misunderstandings, and we reserve the right to alter or amend the facilities we offer.
